You May Be Training Hard, But Are You Eating Enough?

Working the 5x5...

Monday: Back/Bis
Tuesday: Chest
Wednesday: Rest
Thursday: Legs
Friday: Shoulders/Tris
Saturday: Rest
Sunday: rest

Work 11pm-8am..sleep from 8am-4pm...Train at 8pm everynight..
 
Food really does matter. I screwed up two bulking cycles not eating enough and didn't really gain much of anything.

Next time I'm going all out; it'll be 4000 kcal/day w/ 200g protein

Speaking of liquid meals...during the school year the cafeteria has unlimited everything, including milk. I'd drink 8 glasses/day for like 1000 calories.
 
enough but i wish i weren't as fat. i have to eat enough to fuel training and recovery though, so going below maintenence is not an option
 
When bulking I go to the buffet once a day and eat around 5000cals a day. ah 4.95 for all you can eat before 4pm. right now I am eating about 2800cals to maintain weight
 
I don't eat enough, but with my work, it's just impossible to eat any time other than lunch. I'm lucky if i get 4 meals a day.
 
I get some strange looks carrying a cooler of food around (3 meals), plus a Wal-Mart sack full of Myoplex, but most people know that I train.

If anyone wants to hit the local buffet. . .I never decline.

My philosophy is that if you train hard, you must feed the machine.

It's not the strange looks i'm worried about.........it's just unprofessional to be in a meeting and be chowing down on food.

I go from one meeting to another all day.
