how they will always back up any other famous black person. show me one black person that isn't voting for obama. show me any black person that thinks oj was guilty. they all celebrated when he was found not guilty like they all won something. i still debate today that michael vick was wrong for killing those dogs. black guys at work are now swearing killing dogs is not a big deal.

OJ was guilty, so was Michael Vick (and I'm from Atlanta) and I'm only voting for Obama because he's not John McCain. If Colin Powell was the Republican candidate I wouldn't give Obama a moment's thought. Your stupid theory is already crushed....racist.

Thats why men "stick together"? Women need to let the emotions go, and do the right thing. When they are able to do that they will be in office and probably will control whats going on. But the devil is amoung us (lol) so you probably won't make it.

How many times has he defended a Dem? I assume his absence is based on deployments but I was amazed to see him defend a Dem and not post his daily pro Repub threads..he was still posting at that point.

I've been saying all along that he(Obama) is an intelligent, shrewd and calculating politician. If he were an economic conservative with a few years more experience then I would vote for him because he might be able to accomplish something. His whole anti-war thing was playing to his base, he wouldn't have pulled the troops out immediately, he probably would be doing what Bush is doing now.

Your initial post said show me any black person that thinks oj was guilty. I showed you one, therefore I met your burden of proof. You think somehow your circle of "friends's" is somehow representative of black America as a whole? My mom thinks they're both guilty too, just so ya know.
 
None of my black friends think OJ wasn't guilty - they all know he did it.

The blacks who celebrated OJ's innocent verdict didn't necessarily think he didn't do it; They just felt as if the justice system had fuct them for so long that most felt like blacks were "owed" an innocent verdict for one of their own..........

Don't we all have a tendency toward similarity, I would vote for the candidate that understood what I have to struggle with and could protect me and my family... I'm not black, however, if I were you can bet the house I would probably be more likely to vote for someone who could understand the shit that I have to go through... Does anyone ever vote for someone based on the idea other than protencting themselves and family... Political science is not my expertise, but u vote for the candidate that has your self interests at heart. What is wrong with this approach... its what our country was built on.

It tends to be lower class, uneducated blaques that think Obama is Christ but Colin Powell and Condi Rice are Oreos. Just like its poor, uneducated whiteys* that think that McCain is Christ and Obama should be shot for even thinking of running for president.

Thats why Im a classist instead of a racist. I dont like retards, whether theyre white, black, asian, german, or some sort of halvsie.

Dude, if you were a minority and had a history of racial dehumization, lack of opportunities, and had to struggle to free your self from being stereotyped all the time, would not the most intelligent and most beneficial thing to protect your self and just survive be to support someone who had your best interests at heart? I really dont' care who you are voting or support, but more than likely he is someone you identify with on some level...
I'm not in agreement with your statement that voting based on supporting someone who has your best interests at heart, and in this case racial equality, is a bad thing... I only conceptually get what its like to be black, since I'm Asian, I would think someone who is black and has dealt with prejudice would know more how to eliminate that type of thought in society...

Asians, Blacks, Jews, Hindus, Whites, all of us act in similar way being tribal, so I really am unsure what your point is that blacks do this more than any other race...
It just seems kind of silly to me.

The idea that most black people support Michael Vick is laughable especially around here. The only reason Michael Vick is in jail is due to the fact that his buds sold out on him. IMHO this shows clearly that even his buddies in that dog fighting ring weren't clearly in support of him.

Personally my opinion to support OJ was due to the belief I have that evidence was planted. We've had arguments about EDTA levels in blood samples here on numerous occasions. My second opinion was that the NFL left OJ in a state where he was physically incapable of committing the acts. Personally I think Ron Goldman could have kicked his a$$... Add that to the probability of one person brutally slicing both of them in that fashion without either being able to get to their land line/cell phone seems improbably. Add this to to a known cocaine addiction and to me there's plenty of doubt

My personal views on both are defined for different reasons.

I wouldn't use the word racist because I associate that word with hatred. I believe that most people are more comfortable and tend to stick with their own race but I don't think that makes us hate the other race.

You want to experience prejudice? Watch me walk down the street holding my (black) boyfriends hand. A mixed race gay couple, we experience the ultimate in hatred.

Being aware of it is the first step toward ending it. This is a good thread, like it was said you would never see this on TV.
