Yohimbe & Sex Drive

Did anyone else find that when they were on Yohimbe there sex drive was way up!!!!!! But when I got off of it, it's like i had a complete hormonal change and my sex drive was at ZERO for like 2months...I think my boyfriend's hand got soo tired, he didn't know what else to do with himself...Yikes!! Did this happen to anyone else???

YES! When i was on yohimbe, i was an animal, but i had to stop taking it bc i would get some terrible pelvic cramps...now i don't know if that was what caused it, but when i stopped taking it they went away. But my sex drive also went away and is nonexistent. My husband is getting quite frustrated.

I haven't started taking it yet-- but i have fixing to.... everyone i have talked to that has taken it--- their sex drive increased dramitically!!! but i never inquired about what happened whenever they quit taking it??? that might be a good question for me to find out about--- i have had several ppl mention women taking viagra (men's viagra) and it helped sex drive--- not a whole one--- like half of one--- my friend took it and she really liked it---

Yohimbine has never done anything for my sex drive. I think it only helps if you have probs with blood flow to begin with (same as Viagra) but if your blood flow is fine then you won't see any diff. Don't know about coming off the stuff. Maybe your body got addicted to having increased blood flow and now it's on strike?

Me neither! Geesh, I kept hearing how it drove everyone else's sex drive up that I was beginning to think I'm odd or something. Nice to know I'm not the only one whose sex drive isn't affected at all by Yohimbe!

Yohimbe raised my sex drive, but it didn't drop flat when I stopped, took a couple of months.

Yohimbe is anti-estrogenic (is that a word?), and lets a woman's natural test take over for a while. Test controls sex drive in women, too.

Also, has a circulatory enhancing effect, which means more blood supply, faster, to the genitals.
