also, a power cap does not provide a steady stream of power. It's main purpose is to act as a "buffer" between the amp an the battery to prevent voltage drop under heavy load. Basically giving the battery a short lil break so it can keep up.
Again, upgrading your batteries, alt, and wiring is the correct way. Doing that means no need for a cap
