this kind of shenanigans happened by the thousands in WWII
or was it Vietnam?
can I have a Korea?
I think the only wars in which the so-called unarmed weren't shot were in those wars prior to the invention of the arquebus
I kinda get a chuckle over how "PC" the Americans try to keep war. As soon as war is declared all bets should be off. Stop being a bunch of pansies and get your shit over with. Do you really think the people over there are thinking "well, gee...they only tried to kill the "armed guys"?
Nope. Because the person you just killed has family/friends/religious fruitcakes that you just recruited against you. Fallujah is joke right now. There should have been no ground troops sent, just big bombs. Pound the freaking town, and make it clear that any stronghold of resistance will face the same. I seem to remember a policy of the Americans of not just going after terrorist groups within a country, but after the country itself. Treating the country that harbors terrorists and the terrorists as one and the same.
Does this not apply now?
It's going to be a long time in Iraq for the Americans because they aren't going to finish what they have started. Then again, that could be just what they wanted.
The people in here who are saying there are no rules in war, you thought it was ok when saddam gassed those villages right?
The rules apply to everyone, wether it's us or them.

Or when folks were being beheaded.Funny thing is,I was right there screaming what a bunch of fucking souless animals those people were, and I'm going to say the same thing in this instance.Executing an unarmed person who poses no threat(hostages/POWs,or in this case a wounded elderly man)is beyond f*cking disgusting.
Villagers who wanted to rebel and start thier own country. I'm not saying its right.
And just to be clear, some people are saying that rules dont apply to POW's?
So if they capture one of our boys then whatever happens to them is ok?
