I have had to take a year off of training due to injuries and work. Now I want to get back into it. Will I be so far behind my previous lifts or will it just take a few weeks to bounce back ?
Muscle memory is a very real thing. You will get back to where you were very quickly.
That being said - BE CAREFUL and ease back into training. It'll take some time to relearn form and movement patterns. Don't try to jump back to the previous weights you used to use right away
