This time it was a compliment to me, but made someone else feel real bad.
I'm now down 27 pounds, and people are really starting to notice. Anyway, a guy that I haven't seen since I started mid Jan. was at the gym yesterday. I'm doing my walking lunges down the hall, and I see him grab his girlfriend (who looks fine, just maybe needs to lose 5-10 pounds and build some muscle) by the arm, walks her over to me and says to me
"You need to tell her what your doing!! I keep telling her that she needs to not be a lazy ass. She doesn't want to work out, but she needs to! look at you!! Tell her what you're doing so that she can look like you!"
AND SHE WAS STANDING RIGHT THERE!!! I just said that she has a great frame, She's much better off than I was. But she's got to find what works for her. I said, "why don't u try doing something that she likes, like tennis or rollerbladin, instead of dragging her to a gym where she doesn't want to be, and making her feel like crap..."
I was really rude to him, 'cause I didn't know what to say. And I know how it feels to be her.
But yes, selfishly, it was a nice compliment for me.
