Wulfgar at the 08 LA and USA's

Wulfgar

Pussy lover
Platinum
Did pretty good at the LA's conditioning was on point but i was flat(esp during the early comparisons.
At the USA's I got a lesson in what it feels like to get my ass kicked all over Las Vegas. Felt soft, spilled over, ran out of protan before i got dark enough etc. Plus those fuckin dudes are just huge. I learned I got a LOT more work to do. 2009 will be a year of redemption.

thanks bro

honestly just more MASS overall

I noticed the top guys were just huge dudes. the top 6 at the USA's were all 5'10 or under and weighed in at anywhere from 245-260

Sean allan was the biggest guy in the show. 6'6' i think he was 288. I think he maybe made the top 10...maybe

You look rockin bro. Keep up the hard work, obviously paying off.

does that chinese guy only work his biceps? you look good bro

Looking good bro, rocking the Leonidas "This is Sparta"!

You are still very young bro and you looked very good. You have a lot of years ahead of you.Dorian Yates was half your size when he was 31.
Weird tha Curtis Bryant is not on the top places of his class.Every one thought he would get his pro card. Here is a picture. You might have seen him.

wow wolf u look mean bro, like like wolverine and that kat from 300 , what ur max deads, bench, squats, also if i can recall i think u mentioned that u still continue to do heavy prep comp..

peace

you are very young as several have mentioned, so you have a ton of years ahead to work on everything you want to. Wanna get bigger, you got plenty of time. Wanna look like the big boys you're going to have to up the juice no if ands or buts but you're on the right path man. Who do you use as a trainer or mentor during the year/competition prep?

first thing i thought of was hercules , I could with lou had the beard and that shit looked bad ass.
man you are a built muther fucker.
I am not a homo , but you are a good looking guy man , I bet the ladies are all over you man good work

Curtis was a heavy right? he couldnt beat Brandon Curry. Curry was UNBELIEVABLE. esp his upper body.

I trained heavy right up to the week of the show
I didnt do too much flat bench. I was deadlifting 700 lbs right up to the final tuesday. Squats went to the smith machine to save my back 3 weeks out but i would go DEEP with 4-5 plates for sets of 10 up till the last leg workout.

I beleive it is important to not let up on the heavy training. Its what gets you there in the first place right?

I understand what t takes to get to that level. Honestly I just dont want to burn myself out doing too much too soon.
I dont use a mentor at all. Everything I did was on my own. I really dont see the value in geting a mentor yet. I overhear a lot of them and they tell thier guys the most basic stupid shit like "Hey you look flat, eat carbs".

Looking great.....but all I think about when I look at your pictures is the movie 300! Keep up the hard work!

Wulfgar said:
yup, while you were getting your boobs I was rocking my USA prep. :) I think your results were better than mine. :)
Longer lasting but I dunno about better don't think you would look so good as a 36 DD ;)

Yeah I believe he came in at 196.I guess thats a heavy or a light heavy?I dont even see his name one the top 10 on any of the weight classes.Weird.

great job wulfgar. thats an advanced level of bbing competition you just did. now you know what to do for next year. overall mass is a good idea, especially chest and back.

just from looking at the pics you look as though you may have missed your peak alittle, slightly smooth and flat. did you peak early/late? is there something you feel you might have missed the mark on? add a pump and pull out that last layer of water and you would have been amazing.

edit...worng post

nice fuckin pixs wolf .. u in awesome shape .. u got great knowledge .. i wish i would see u post in here more often ..there is so much alot of good bros could learn from u .. i mean shyt everyone knows the basically by now ..unless u a fresh noob

Bryant got his pro card. Not sure what he does not show as placing at the USA's

I def missed my peak. I have some pics from the night before. I was drier, harder and more vascular just sitting around. It is harder than I imagined peaking 2 weeks in a row. Its almost like something has to give in one show or the other.

Bryant was the Light-heavy winner. He got his pro card along with Curry at the USA's.

2 weeks in a row is VERY hard ideally if your doing shows back to back 3-4 weeks is needed to rebound and be ready to peak again IMHO.

how did ur diet and training routine look like bro?

245 lbs of solid muscle is sick but you're fricken tall too so adding mass is key. You know what you need to do and what you need to work on so have at it and good luck. I certainly wish I had the time to put into developing a BB physique. I like one thing you said and that was that you didn't want to do too much T so as to not burn out too quickly, smart man bro, smart man.

**edit**
When you get a chance, I'd love to see your workout and gear regimen. Do you plan out your gear a year in advance or 6 mos. at a time or even smaller time icrements, depending on what you need to work on?

you look GREAT!!! at your height, it's very impressive. over the next few years
you'll acquire the " mature" muscle look and things will get very interesting.
again, you look fantastic and i really enjoy your knowledge of bb'ing and crazy
humor.

its all about conditioning at that level. the conditioning will give the illusion of more size. Did you use the keto diet?

Keto diet kind of flattened me out more than ever before and I had to push really hard to try to fill out.
I instead did more of a CKD protocol but just utilized HIIT for my cardio to peel the excess carbs off.

we need to talk some contest prep when you get a chance bro. Keto diet is the way to go for dieting down, but the big change starts out 10 days prior to the wednesday......i'll explain...get up with me.
