I just got home from a weekend in Miami, i've been all over the country to party, NY, san fran and seen all kinds of venues, but i've never seen anything like this!! "supposedly" it was their last night open, they are closing it down due to some drug issues and reopening under a new name and new ownership, but anyways, i was there for my first time, and their last time as SPACE!!!

Danny Tangalia was the DJ, 3000 fucking people!!! 50 bucks a head to get in, partied from 1am till fucking noon the next DAY!!!

No I was there from 3am til noon the Saturday before for Erick Morrillo...

Morillo's first time at Space...he owned both the main room and patio...unbelievable music...he played the patio until noon...

I'll be back for Howells next Friday and Lawler in December

yeah bro...Morillo was awesome...I remember how impressed you were when we checked him out at Crobar for WMC '02...he was three times as good at Space!

I used to love going to clubs and rolling 'till noon. I think Miami is out of my price range. Now with the mon-fri work grind, I just don't have the recovery time...sucks.

not the kind of club i would like to go to alone, and from my one experience there, me and everyone else was so fucked up, hooking up was about the last thing on everyone's mind!! probably come closer to getting ass at a not so intense club

I saw Danny Tangalia spin at a club on LI named Mirage. It was a good time a nd pretty good club.

Goddamn I can't wait 'till I live in South Florida... 3 years to go! I'm gonna be in Miami Beach June 4th to 11th for FAME AMERICA Fitness Expo (competing in Fitness Model Universe) any suggestions for good clubs in the SoBe area? Liquid? Crobar? Opium Garden?

Anyone else going to/competing in any of the FAME shows?? 10 weeks out!!

Security wasn't anywhere near as stricked as the clubs in South Beach...you could do what you needed too without worry of being thrown out or worse...

Space is the best place you can be on a warm sunday morning at about 7:00am when the sun is comming up. Upstairs outside is the craziest shit. I love it, I can't wait to go back.

Yeah, Space is the shit dude. Miami in general is the shit. Moving there in the next year for sure.

Been tending bar in the Miami scene for the past 6 years! SoBe has turned very ghetto the last few years. Most of the diehards still go but the area lost it's spark.

Space is a great afterhours club, but it's soon starting to feel the crunch.

The new Seminole Hard Rock Casino has two new HotSpots that just open in Hollywood Fl. ( between Miami and Ft. lauderdale) Pangaea Lounge and Griffin Nightclub from NY just open their doors there and the place ROCKS!!!!
24 hour liquor license, smoking allowed, easy parking. I have seen some of SoBe elite starting to hang out there. Only advise i can offer, if you plan on going on a Fri or Sat nite get there by 8pm, park, grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants. otherwise you'll be waiting in some serious traffic trying to get in.
