well is 1 the best or 17?

C'mon... its the standard scale, you see it everywhere.

1 = worst
12 = best
17 = average

That scale is obviously canadian. Therefore I'm going to go ahead and say 15 kilograms.

I bought a wood lathe from a highschool woodshop. I made a salad bowl last week. I glued up Cherry and Walnut 7 layers thick and turned it on the face. It made a cool checkered pattern of light and dark wood. Pretty cool toy.

For smaller projects, I recommend zebra wood. Looks cool as hell. Hard to work with though. It is worth it.

I used it before. My dad has a wood shop. It's one of his many hobbies. We build everything from rough lumber. He has a massive planer, jointer, computer lathe, huge belt sander, table saw, chop saw, about everything you need to take on a major project from rough lumber. I've built a few gun cabniets, pool tables, kitchen tables, about everything there is. I wish I had time to do it now.

I had a good woodshop before it was pretty well ruined by fire. What a set back.

Refer to the George Carlin "My Stuff" thread.

My conclusion after taking loads and loads of shit away, the solution is not more space, the solution is getting rid of crap you don't need. If you got more space, you'll get more shit. Of course I still got a lot of shit, but not like yesteryear.
