so big guy , when are we gonna be able to see your name on that list??

I watched WSM today.. absolutely incredible... i wanna be like stumpy raynes! i cant believe he deadlifted 772... he's huge!(and tiny)

I hope to be on that list next year...Brett Latta beat me by a long shot last October and my ONE measly point in February. I think that I can make it next year for sure...

Would be nice to have one of our own on there. Glad to heard you are close to the field. Just gotta work harder for the next year and see what happens when the qualifyer comes around again. Good Luck Bro.

Not for sure if Phister will win. The top 5 go to the Worlds out of that list and his core strength is lagging behind many on that list. They will be doing many lifts for max weight...and early on in the contest. That may hurt him...but I think that he will easily qualify top 5.

Give me a year and I would like to be top 20 in the United States...I have already beaten a few top 25 pros.

No weight class in the pros...none.

When you make it into the pro's is your training going to become different? Also, will you have events like the train pull, the fingaled fingers, conans wheel..etc ? And when you become big and famous.. can i ummm get your autograph mr b fold.

Deciever: My training is constantly changing as I get more equipment. For my birthday I am getting a Conan's Wheel and Viking Press from my family:) I would like to get a car deadlift apparatus.

I need to get stronger...constantly stronger.

The events that I do vary from contest to contest. The first set of Fingaled Fingers in the US were used ONLY this year and at ONE contest. They are expensive to make and hard to store.

a viking press??? whats that?

Also, once you have all the equipment you should put on a mini meet for local strongman, so you can raise money to buy more equipment.

Thats a nice field. Its gonna be a fun meet.

I see PHILLIPPI has battled back yet again.

I still shudder thinking about that car coming down on him. *shudders*

Deciever: A viking press is like what they used to use to do overhead presses. They had a huge log (like 800 pounds) and you would face it straight on from the end. They had handles on the end and you pressed it. Mine will be a Conan's wheel/Viking Press in one.

sorerotators: I think that he stands a chance. He is good at static movements where he doesn't have to move very much (squat, deadlift, etc...)

luto199: Hope to see you there!!!

Aussie Juga naught: No they do not. The tests simply cost too much and we get a lot of international competitors.

a natural guy at my gym did 600 plus on the deadlift he only weight 165 at like 4 percent bodyfat all natural but he was short. and he only had a belt

on that list i see the name johnny perry. i beleive thats the same johnny perry (actually i think thats a misprint and his name is joe perry)that fucked my ex girl friend. he is from garner north carolina. we talked to each other he admitted and told me that he took tons of steroids in highschool and when he was younger i think he might be under some metrx sponsership too. by the way he is 6feet6 365 pounds a fucken monster. i think he competed in the wsm before. i think he told me he can bench press 650 or something like that. ive never seen anyone so big in my life you would actually have to see someone like this in person. i thought i was big but ohhhh hell naw not to this guy

Have you ever thought about taking steroids to booste your performance? Surely its tempting seeing how your fellow competitiors may be jacked. And the strength gains would be exelent.

nclifter6feet6: He goes by Johnny Perry now...and he is huge.

Aussie: At this point in my training/life...I can not justify spending 1,000 on a cycle or two when that same money could buy me implements to train with, food, expense money for contests and training and to finish my education. Not saying that I never will, but right now I just can't justify it. Yes, I have even talked it over with my family...they support my decision fully...either way.

B fold- I knew you were a strong mother fucker and have always wondered if you juiced or not but I dont like to ask people shit like that too much. Not that I have anything against it because I dont but I think its really awesome that you have come this far going the all natural route. I would say that is very rare in your sport.

bfold, any chance of you at least getting to watch this? man that would fire you up for next year...
