Guys, I just finished my first cycle since about 5 years ago. 6 week combo of Tbol and winny (40mg ed for both w/ half taper on the last week). Went from 173lbs 12.4% BF to 188.5lbs 11.3% BF (I also tweaked my insulin regimen to help me in the gains area [I'm diabetic]). I had been working out pretty hard and intense before starting the cycle, but my strength really went up during, and most of my growth was in the first 3-4 weeks with 5-6 week tapering off. I had no testicle shrinkage, so I opted for no HCG, went straight to Nolvadex 40mg ed for this last week, and now in second week at 20mg ed. I have retained almost all of it (187lbs this morning) and still have some very good strength.
The thing is that I think I might have overtrained just a little (or maybe a lot - I was going up in weight like crazy and doing tons of supersets and trisets...) All through the cycle (and even before), I had sore joints and difficulty sleeping, but especially during the cycle I was plagued with it more (probably winny didn't help). Now starting second week of PCT, I'm still achey, and I'm thinking about taking this week and next "off" while I finish up 20mg ed of Nolvadex in preparation for a Anavar cycle (t-bol to jump start (have some left), but mostly just anavar for 8 weeks). It's not like I can't perform in the gym, I can, it's just that I feel the effects afterward - muscles aren't sore that much, just joints (even fingers), and legs and sleeping (stiffness).
So my question is, what would be a good workout routine for the next two weeks to allow me to recover some, but also not make me feel lazy? I want to still hit the gym - some light circuit training, cardio only (but I don't want to go catabolic), or just simply follow my same routine but cut back on sets, increase reps, and use light weight? I want to go into the next cycle primed and ready.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
(BTW, no "are you afraid of needles" - I just happen to have orals only at this time. I stick myself with needles upwards of 10 times a day)
