Working out with anti-inflammatory medication

Working heavy with an injury is a no no. We're all clear on that.

If swelling is the only thing keeping you from pushing ex. Arthritis, can you work that area when the inflammation is not present?

inflammation is the bodies response to an injury. by shutting it off and continueing to pound away its like turning off a sewage pipe and letting the sewage back up into the house. it might help at first but in the long run your house is gonna get overun with shit.

don't ever run anti-inflammatories if you are a dedicated lifter.. and don't ever keep pounding away at an injury. there are many different muscles, bones, etc in the body. you can leave the injured area alone and workout the other areas and let that heal.

I have joint inflammation and my doctor has told me to make sure that I go to the gym daily and work out daily. Of course no heavy crazy lifting but to work out and keep a good range of motion going on my body.

It was either this or physical therapy..I chose the gym!!
