Working calves at home?

How could I work calves at home? I have small calves and would like to work them out a lot more. I hit them at the gym every other day but still would like more progress
 
I need a good way to work calves at home to.
Heres an idea i came up with today
put your foot in one end of an inner tube, and hold the other end with your hands and appy negative pressure while you pump your calves. I guess you'd have to do while lying or sitting.
I dont know if there will be enough weight/resisdence though, could double or triple up.
Is this a dumb idea?

If you are training them at the gym EOD and not making progress..I don't think that training them MORE will give you the desired results.

What do you normally do for them?

most people do not get good calf results as they use insufficient weight to stimulate hypertrophy. I can't see how you could get an effective workout at home.
 
Wanna blow up your calves bigtime the easy way?

Get some old boots or shoes, and stick a 2inch wooden block at the front under the balls of your foot - like a Strength Shoe.
Go and walk around on these 3 times a week, don't let your heels touch the ground. Best to do it on grass. Start with 5 mins and build up to 30mins of walking. You'll pack on size like nothing. It burns like heck though :)

Not only will your calves blow up, but they'll get mighty hard and strong, and your vertical leap will go up too!

I made a pair of those block shoes today. I use 2X4 though which really arent 2" thick, but it seems to work. I plan on wearing them when i chase my dog in the back yard. Dont use them on hard or slick surfaces, i went sliding across my kitchen going to get some food.
 
super glue some tyre material or treaded rubber and you should be ok :)

Even cork will help

What did you use to stick the blocks on?
 
Im gonna use my low profile racing tires, glue a peice of that to the bottom:D j/k

I used wood screws, right through the inside of the soles and into the wood blocks, worked perfect.
You have to unlace the shoes to get the tounge out of the way.
 
well I'm sure you'd be able to get some old tyres from a wheel and tyre shop. They throw em out anyway and just hack it up :)
