I am currently starting a 12 week bulking cycle consisting of 50 mg dbol weeks 1-4, 400 mg deca weeks 1- 10, and test e 700mg weeks 1-12, arimidex 25mg a day, and provirion 50 mg a day. I am 25 6'2 205 ibls 12% body fat and this is my second cycle. My question has nothing to do with my cycle I wanted to ask people that do cycle though because id appreciate there feed back on this. I am currently training 6 days a week, I divided my biceps and triceps into 2 separate days and haven't had the time to train my abs. I wanted to see what you guys thought about those 10 minute ab workout videos every night. If they work or are a waste of time.

It depends on what exercise they are having you do.
With that said doin ab workout at least a few times per
week is better than nothing at all.

Alin is right, bro. Any Abs is better than none. I separate my Legs into 2 days (Quads and Calves on 1 day and Hams and Lower Back on another). So, I only do Abs 1 day a week, on Saturady (Arms and Abs). As long as your diet is good then you'll see the Abs popping if you hit them at least once a week or even 10 min a night.

I just hit up a cheeky 15mins of abs after every weights session I do coz when you cut those blocks are going to come out very nice

IMO if you're bulking, cutting, or whatever you always need to incorporate every BP into your routine. DO you need to be doing abs for a hour EVERY day, no. But no BP should be neglected.

As for the way you train them, post workout while you're still in t gym is wayyyyyyyyyy better than any of those soccer mom dvd's

Don't neglect the core!

I haven't seen my abs in 5 years, but I still hit them almost everyday. 5-10 minute circuit right after weights.

If you are bulking you should be doing heavy compound lifts which are the best core exercises anyways but I agree in training them just like any other body part pending your goals.. Probably keep the weight pretty heavy and add them in on some of your shorter lift days

Oh and if you don't have "time" yet your training 6x a week you can just do back with bis and chest with tris

you should be working your abs on every lift you do by keeping your core tight, working in negatives, etc... remember, abs are muscles that need to be trained just like anything else... you wouldn't do chest every day of the week would you? what makes abs any different of a muscle than anything else?? you need to train them properly... to shred your abs, it will come down to diet, cardio work, etc... that's what gets them to really show.. you can help sculpt by doing the workout movements but to truly get them to show, you need to melt fat... use things that keep you dry... give some things like n2burn and yohimflame a try to get fat reduction as well...

Exactly. Abs need to be treated just as any other muscle group, meaning they need trained regularly with proper time for recovery
