Women Please Help me-My wife has some questions about supplements and side effects.

One year ago I started exercising and my wife saw the great results I had, but I am very compulsive and do a great deal more of cardio then she would ever be able to do and I have more gym time available to me. My wife 15 years ago was involved in a bad accident and nearly lost a leg, well after that she steadily put on weight and always used the wreck as her excuse. Well three months ago she decided it was time to lose weight my wife is my angel and has a heart of gold and I was so happy. Well three months of cardio later and some weight lifting. She now has been asking about what supplements she could use to help accelerate her weight loss. She first of all worries about hair loss. She is curious about xenadrine, hydroxycut, and I hate to say it I dont use it but she asked because a two male friends we have do Winstrol and Equipoise and have told her how it would work also and she stated she may consider it but does not know the side effects can you all please help with this and any other suggestions. Thanks so much. Georgia Irish

i'll be the first to tell you (and this post will be followed by many others saying the same thing) that she needs more time of natural training and dieting before she could even consider the use of anabolics... put her on xenadrine (ECA) and yohimbe fuel (or the standardized yohimbe offered through this site)... have her supplement with glutamine and protein... make sure she is doing plenty of cardio and weight training and eating a clean diet, preferably lower in carbs.

if she is stuck or doesn't know where to go with her diet/training, have her post what she is doing and I am sure many here can help.

What about side effects of Hydroxycut and Xenandrine, she is worried about hair loss. Do you know side effects of any of these thermagenics. Thanks and any more info is great Georgia Irish

she won't lose her hair from thermogenics... the only things she might experience is anxiety, increased heart rate, and sweating... nothing serious unless she has a heart condition...

Also don't listen to guys recommending winstrol & other AS as weight loss supps for women. They don't know what they are talking about -- AS isn't for weight loss & women don't "take' AS the same way as men do and the sides are significantly different.

Start w/ education about basic training, diet, cardio, recovery. Then do it consistently. Thermos (ECA) like Hydroxycuts, Xenadrine, Ripped Fuel or Adipokinetix are options that are OTC and readily available. How well she can handle them is something that she will have to experiment if she is looking for a little extra kick in the fat burning department. The biggest bang for the buck will come from consistent & intense (not necessarily real heavy) training & a tight, consistent diet.

I have to agree with Sassy...
I am an example of that...
I am quite new at this, but so far I have follow the advise given in these board and it has done wonders for me.
I have been eating clean for 4 weeks now. My cal intake range between 2000- 2220 a day with 2 days high carbs(170g) 2 days low carbs(80g). I had toplay with the ratios but this is what works for me.
I do cardio in morning empty stomach for 60min. Do weight trainning Mon(legs), wed(back-bis), fri(chest-tris). I folloed w6 advise in eating before weight training. so I set my alarm at 4:00am and eat my oatmeal and go back to bed, get to gym at 5:30 and hit weights.(thgis is only on weights days. Than after weights I do 30min cardio, because I have no other time to go back to gym.
Sundays is my free day..just relaxI have drop lots of inches..and also weigt in the scale.
Follow the advise in the board in play with food combination and u will see results soon.

If she is consistent w/ her diet and training she will get results..3 months is barely time enough to make major improvements...she hasnt exercised for how long? Her weight gain did not happen over night and neither will her weight loss...It is very hard to be patient..but she needs to be. How about letting your wife have a personal trainer for a while..and give her some more gym time..why can she not have as much as you??? I would work on that portion of the problem. She will see more progress with time...take pics every 2 months to keep her motivated..get her on these boards and let her read through old posts of women who have lost weight..had children and done some amazing stuff..it will inspire her..plus it is a good place for her to go to ask questions and learn about her body and training. We dont bite I promise:) fat burners are fine..she will not get hair loss..maybe the jitters and some headaches but if taken properly she should be fine...does she do cardio in the AM on an empty stomach? How does she train now?

Yes....ok let me refrase this...
W6 mention that is a no no to do weights aftr workout and on empty stomach....
yes u are the one who gets up at 4am.....
I decided to do it at 4am..because I get to the gym at 5:30am and that gives me 1h:30m of digestion.....
Better????;)
Do not get gelous...come on.....u have help me a GREAT deal...i am a fan of yours:mix: :mix: :mix: :mix:
