Despite the Peyton Mannings and the Marshall Faulk's New Orleans IMHO is not a sports town. You'll be hard pressed to find an indoor basketball court anywhere. The town is about drinking and drugs. Sports is watched not played.

You gotta leave Orleans parish and get into Jefferson for things to start looking a little better.
