The Sufi, .. with a contented gaze beholds everything as stemming from God. He doesn't permit himself to be entangled in sensing vexation to God's creatures either in this world or the next. He has freely surrendered - with grateful even - his goods and blood to God's creatures.
So he surrenders himself to God, considering himself torment to people.
By his humility, he conlstructs out of every mote of dust a place to address his prayers,
and with a soul overflowing with love he serves the dogs that haunt the back street of the market.
