I just thought it would be interesting to hear peoples personal reasons as to why they work out and what their goals are. There are many positive reasons for it. Pick yours!

Look better
Feel better
Helps with self confidence I must admit.
I spend loads of money on bloodwork and monitering everything, much more than I spend on gear so i'm doing it responsibly.
I don't compete so I can still to relatively safe kinds of gear and at very reasonable dosages and cycle length. I aviod many kinds that some treat like candy.
So, given the above, I think the question would be, why not?
glennds said:which means the exact opposite is true.

haha ya dude. Gotta luv the chick magnet factor.Acela said:when i started lifting @ 14 years old it was for football & hockey. by the time i was 17 it had turned much more into my lifestyle.
i worked out consistently until i was 25 ish. sadly, i spiraled into a 3 year haze of crack, opiates & benzo's....you might find it hard to believe, but i still managed to workout during this time. i lost weight, motivation, and to quite frank i was morally bankrupt.
I have been clean since this past January 6th. working out now is like my salvation, it really gets me going each and every morning. It is definately my replacement therapy. Instead of being fucked up 24/7, now i have body building and the lifestyle to be obsessive/compulsive with.
I will also add that i like the pussy that comes along with it. there is no better feeling then when you are plowing a chick and she can't stop feeling your chest and arms and she comments on "hard" you are. its an easy thing for her to want you more because you know that more likely than not, the last guy she was with had bitch tits and love handles.
sorry for the novel
