Why are you NOT going to this event?

Honestly I know the guy running this event. (Jerry)
For those of you who are martial artists / fight fans, why would you not go?
really....he wants to know.

It is going to be pretty big, in a big venue in a big city. The price seems reasonable and he has spent a ton on marketing and advertising.

Many will come but many will stay away too....WHY?

I would go to this event but I live in California.

there is only a couple instructors worth checking out imho and most of them, you can train with any time in Toronto. mabye if there were a few more international mma fighters/instructors or high level wrestling coaches teaching practical fundamentals, it be more worth while.

other than that, it is still a cool concept and i might go.

based on so few replies I think it is because most of the guys who read and post here (not all) don't actually train in any arts (at a club or dojo).

maybe most of you are martial arts "fans"...that's OK too.

for me toronto is too damn pricey to stay in for a weekend, id like to get outside the guys I train with too see how it goes,but for now Im comfortable just being a sparring partner for my buddy who might be fighting apexx very soon
