The Western diet is as follows:
Eat crappy throughout the week: small breakfast, little lunch, candy bar at work with soda, come home, eat an okay dinner, or just be lazy and order fast food, eat some doritos before bed.
Then on the weekends: pig out on eggs, bacon, sausage, bread, ice cream, take the kids to mickey d's, lay around in the sun and bake.
Who's responsible? The average person. And if you have ever noticed, the people who don't follow a healthy diet and do not exercise, regardless if they are fat or not, are usually the ones that have an attitude all the time and are just annoying to be around
