Who was an Xbox and PS2?

THe PS2, its got a lot more out for it and the games are cheaper, and the lineup is also a lot bigger
 
well right now I don't think there are really any games worth getting the system for, in a year Id say when its library is bigger would be prime time, Ive had more fun on the Gamecube (don't have one though) playing the new Resident Evil then I have with my bros Xbox
 
I think XBox may end up like dreamcast. I dunno it just seems Playstation will always reign supreme why ninentendo with continue to hanging their because of the kid market and the great game nintendo puts out.
 
I have all three (bought the gamecube from a friend who was having money problems) and I prefer my XBOX by far. But it all depends on what you like. I dont like Metal Gear, Final Fantasy, or Grand Turismo. They all blow IMO. The only game Ive ever liked from the PS2 is Grand theft auto and Halo kicks the shit out of it.

Check out www.ign.com and see if there are any good games you want for it. Once I get the money Im gonna get Project Gothem Racing, Rallisport, NFL Blitz, and Morrowind when it comes out.
 
I have both and I play my xox far more, especially Halo onlineor tony hawk 3 online.

And there is a ton of good games that are about to come out.
 
Forget the Xbox, but go with a playstaions 2.......it's way better and you can buy the greatest game GTA3.
 
ps2 has the games by far. The best games, not only the most, are for ps2 in my opinion. Gta3, metal gear, gran turismo, all awesome games regardless of what people say. Although, xbox is very very impressive. It has some very cool games as well, and has more potential if anything then ps2. It has crazy good graphics that still blow my mind. I think its a very good system, its just a year behind the ps2 in being out, so it naturally doesn't have as many games. Still very cool though.
 
PS2 is by far the best--no arguement.

If you are completely addicted to Halo or online games, buy an XBOX.

However, with the Nintendo titles coming out, i'd plunk down money on a cube. Resident Evil just came out and is kick ass, Smash Bros., Metroid, Zelda, Star Fox, and the list goes on and on.

Personally, I got a little pee stain waiting for the new Super Mario Bros...

I LIKE MY XBOX MUCH BETTER. THE PS2 MAY HAVE MORE GAMES BUT GAMES ARE COMING OUT WEEKLY. LOTS OF GOOD GAMES ARE COMING OUT FOR THE BOX.


IMO....THE BOX IS BETTER AND IS CONTINUING TO GET BETTER. THERE IS NO WAY A COMPANY LIKE MICROSOFT WILL LET XBOX FAIL MISERABLY LIKE DREAMCAST.

Your frieinds want you to bring over the box cuz they don't have it and they don't get to play it often but they ALL have the PS2. See a pattern?

Strength in numbers, brother, strength in numbers...
 
IF THAT WERE THE CASE, THEY WOULDNT FLAT OUT SAY THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE WAITED AND GOT AND XBOX. THEY EVEN OFFERED TO BUY IT FROM ME A FEW TIMES.

ONE OF THEM WHO HAD THE PS2 ACTUALLY SOLD IT AND THEN BOUGHT AN XBOX.

I dunno. Microsoft has failed before. .NET never really worked out like they hoped it would. But its' funny everyone who had both say they play Xbox more.

WSJ did a write up on May 16th about them...

cool - never seen TechTV. I suppose it is all how you look at it too.
all I know is that there are many companies out here that are doing all their stuff in .NET and it is very successful.
it is totally worthless for things that need a lot of power- but it is pretty good for database applications - which is what most things are these days.
 
I have all three game systems. I usually play xbox the most. But they all have something to offer one way or another.

There's exclusive games on each system and only buying one would be cheating myself out of some awesome games. Saying all that though most games come out of all three systems, and I usually buy most games for the xbox. It makes sense to buy the game for the most powerful system doesn't it???
 
Xbox is about to release a slew of games that will end the debate in my opinion.

HALO 2 IS COMING OUT SOON...BLOOD OMEN 2 IS AWESOME. MAX PAYNE IS GREAT ALSO. I'M NOT REALLY INTO THE SPORTS GAMES ALL THAT MUCH BUT PLAN ON GETTING A COUPLE TO SEE WHAT ALL THE FUSS IS ABOUT. IRONIC CONSIDERING I HAVE BEEN AN ATHLETE MOST OF MY 23 YEARS.

isnt grand theft auto 3 supposed to be coming out for the xbox eventually? thats the only reason to own a ps2 i/m/o. the ps2 is outperformed by the the game cube even.. there will be a ton of new games coming out for the xbox and cube in the next year making them extremely worthwhile to own.

then it may be GTA4 that is coming out for the xbox..because i remember them talking about sony paying for the ads in the article.. ill look around.. GTA3 is coming, or is already, out for the computer though.

the whole, crash isnt a cash-cow like mario and zelda though. people buy systems just for mario and zelda. im one of them..well mario, zelda, and A NEW FUCKING METROID!

i feel like such a dork now that i have talked about video-games over the internet..

must find woman to restore my pimp status.
