I have a buddy that has a reg s10 with a vette motor in it and a mild shot of n2o. He ran a 12 sec 1/4 on 20" wheels/street tires.

Air bags are used in top fuel dragsters (I think those are the ones). I've also seen air ride used in autocross vehicles.

My trucks that are bodied really aren't meant for anything really other than show though.
