don't worry bout nawlins burning down anytime soon.. .they are a stud QB and a BIG TIME wideout away from getting close... then they can work on a better secondary... and yes, they need to.

i am also a titans fan.... not to mention another team... a hard hitting, smothering defense... and not the one an hour south either.

IF (its a big one) brooks begins the season at number one.. i GUARENTEE he will not end it there... he is a bum.. he is charlie batch part two... he has no touch whatsoever and lays his guys out to get killed... he is horrible...

mcnabb on the other hand took a team to the playoffs... VIRTUALLY ALONE!!! his receivers are better this year.. mitchell, pinkston, and thrash are better than the fellas that bledsoe has to throw to this year... and as for duce.. NOBODY KNOWS.. not till training camp anyway... they got buckhalter to help out but if duce is not able to bounce back then someone better develope fast or they best be calling denver up and talking deals...

winny, i THINK the eagles are worried that trotter is going to want too much money and they may not be willing to pay him.. so they would like gardner to move over into his spot, get some reps there and other places so he is groomed to take over... they will realize that shit aint gonna happen... trotter is a linebacker, born and bread...

i actually like emmons, he is a solid tackler.. nothing special, true.. but solid.

secondary.. well, i personally think dawkins is the best safety in the game.. yes, over lynch and lawyer... last year sucked for him cuz he had appendicitis and lost some major weight in the middle of the season...

as for duce, HELL YES i am worried... what mcnabb did last year was amazing... hands down MOST VALUABLE player to his team... to ask him to do it again would be crazy... everyone from nebraska says buckhalter can move and is quality... i hope so.. but dont really wanna find out if i dont have to.
 
Eagles= No wideouts, No RBs, No chance for a 500 record.
Mcnabb is good, but Christ you cant expect him to do everything.

BTW, What if Mcnabb is injured? The Saints have depth at every position except WR.
 
Madbomber, I forgot to mention that I would not expect the Eagles to go after M. Anderson or Olandis Gary. I believe, along with the rest of the NFl, that they are the product of superb system.

That's kind of the same situation in Carolina with Jeff Lewis, who? I don't think he going to get the starting job for long if at all. I think Weinke is being groomed now for the starting job.
 
Yeah they should have released Lewis and let Weinke learn behind Burlien for the next few years until he retires. I question a lot of moves they make in the organization.

It'll be interesting to see what will happen next year with re-alignment as far as traditional division winners and losers.

It was John Ehret. I had a friend in my National Guard unit that knew his family well,I think I remember him saying Kordells mom was a teacher at Ehret.

as for the eagles having no wr's... pinkston has supposedly gained weight and has had an offseason of playing ball with mcnabb... freddie mitchell is a better reciever NOW, than small or johnson were... and he is a rookie who has yet to play a game... their is no compariison... thrash has speed and came a long way last year... as of RIGHT NOW... the eagles have more outside speed than they did a season ago... the same defense (best scoring d in the nfc), a super qb with another year of experience a deeper team at rb, and the prospect of a pro bowl running back returning... i would be happy with that any day... and am.

the saints have fans who dont believe in ricky williams, a front office that has a need to put pressure on him... a young qb that needs to develope or get out of the league in 3 years, a tight end who gets hurt getting a blowjob, and a pretty good defense to go along with ONE receiver who became a playmaker and another who USED to be because he had carter on the other side... GOOD LUCK.

And yes, I watched him play about 7-8 times last year, and against the Saints when he rushed for 200yds, and the guy was hardly touched until he had already gained six yards. What RB were you watching?

If you think he can come to Philly and rush for 1500 Yds +, you got another thing coming.

big dog, he wouldnt be needed to rush for 1500 yards, something DUCE wont do either... what a good back does more than anything is help the team control the ball.. the simple threat of gaining yards and controlling clock is what a good back up is needed for... duce is in no way a gamebreaker, and why would anyone expect anderson to be??? they wouldnt... game breakers are the big play backs, like sanders was, james, faulk, dunn, etc... the guys who are a threat to score at any time.. duce is a control back... duce is a back that goes forward and takes what he gets... he is not a great back, he is however far above average... so is mike anderson... he would be a good back to have if something happened to duce... he is obviously expendable as well...

and my point of watching other teams games was more of mcnabb and the eagles... their team last year... they had 2 national tv games... and the 2 playoff games.


AS FOR THE PANTHERS... how/why would you want to groom a 28 year old as your future qb??? it seems now that if you are THAT good you start in your 2nd year... unless that team is so shitty they have no choice (see bengals, browns, colts)... anyway, if you "groom" weinke, that means he is starting at 29 or 30... you have him in his "prime" years at 33 (when he knows the league)... 3 or 4 good years and then he is "old"... weinke is a career back up qb in most organizations... luckily he might get a chance to play in carolina... but he wont be the long term qb... if he becomes a starter it will be for 2 or 3 years... in my opinion.
 
Why Big D drafted Quincy I don't know....He sucked it up this year...My sister goes to UGA and says he doesn't think but rather reacts to everything on the field. I personally was a fan of his during his first season at UGA. He has the physically ability to do ok, but I don't think he will make it far in the league unless he learns to use his head more....

Whats funny is that he sat out most of the season this year due to a finger injury they claimed, but rumors at that school were saying his drug test done by the school came out bad.
