Personally Music gets me way more pumped and I enjoy working out better with it, how do yall feel about that ?
 
Sorry dude, but you keep posting these non-anabolic theads on the anabolic board. I would suggest posting them on the chat board.

imho....music is a must.....it helps tremendously with the level of intensity that I use in my workouts.....I love listening to bands like mettalica, korn, slipknot, godsmack, and alot of other metal bands....plus the music they play at my gym is horrible!!!

A little NIN or Metallica can end up being pretty anabolic when you're all jacked and you get that psyched up. :p
 
dude, this is the main board, with by far the most traffic, and It does have to do with anabolics, because they are involved in working out. I really dont think this thread is causing a huge shift from anabolics to other things, but ur entitled to your opionion. I was just wondering if others like music. I would only get a couple responses on any other board.
 
I always listen to music while training. I have to bring a discman to the gym because they play shit music :kaioken:

Yep, I listen to the Drum and the Bass! My gym plays this soft radio shite (celine dion *cough*). How's anyone supposed to work out to that. I need some pump-up music.

There was some research I read about in which people listening to music trained with more intensity. I'll try to find it and post it up.
 
With the music they play at my gym(dirty dancing soundtrack and Tina Turner), I have no choice but to use headphones...

I to only use the headphones when the lifting partner isn't there. I have a cd burner so I make lifting cds with:
Pantera, Deftones, Slipknot, Soulfly, Mudvayne and Kittie to name just a few.
