Montana is simply a guy that managed to network himself a name. He takes known training concepts and puts them on this site claiming they are some brilliant epiphany of his own. That makes him a fraud.

He has an average level of knowledge in this sport. The only thing he is good at is writing. With this writing skill, he takes his average knowledge and creates the illusion that he is an innovator with all sorts of profound information. Bullshit.

Nelson is just another member of the boards who has, by sparking some controversy, managed to develop a reputation.

Nelson claims to have been friends with the great Dan Duchaine....
The only time he ever met Dan Duchaine, they sat awkwardly at a lunch forced upon Mr Duchaine and talked about COMIC BOOKS because Mr Duchaine immediately recognized Montana as having an inadequate amount of knowledge to talk about training. He knew Nelson was a joke.

I cannot believe that some people are naive enough to still hold Montana up to the level which he places himself. Open your damn eyes.

S'mores Pop-Tarts are the best!

I agree 100%, interresting point that you stated about Nelson's meeting with Dan Duchaine, because in another thread he claims that Duchaine praised him. As well as Dave Draper and a host of other notables.

Everyone to their own opinion. But i believe that if you aint done it, you cant tell others how to either. Now i dont listen to people under 200lbs when theyre talking about getting big, cos they simply are small, and if they did have all the answers they probably wouldnt be under 200lbs.
I'll stick to the advice from the pros
No disrespect nelson, you are highly knowledged, but perhaps a little inexperienced. And i dont believe in genetics, Big Doz suppossedly had poor genetics. He won the Mr O 7 times.
Bro

Nelson already said he isn't about 'getting big' as you put it, he is more into the look that he has acheived for himself.

To each his own for sure... I can tell you that I am also not after the overdeveloped look I am after a healthy look. More women prefer the Men's Health look to Ronnie Coleman... if you beleive differently you are just fooling yourself.

Fair point, but how can someone who isnt about getting big tell others the right way to do this??
I dont play football, but then i dont tell david beckham how to take a free kick! (for the uk members)

Bro tell that to Franco Columbu, the biggest little man that this sport has ever known, and strong as a team of oxen. If your limited by genetics you can only get so big, myself I would rather weigh under 200 pounds and look and feel good than weigh 280 and be sloppy.:)

Yeah, who'd want to be 280 and sloppy?
Me! cos id be 250 and shredded in 12 weeks!!

Take a look at the Mr O winners over the past 15-20yrs, then count the ones that weighed in under 200. Not many.
Now i aint Mr O, and never will be. But the closer i get to being like those who were, the faster i shall travel.

I don't think Nelson claims to be telling others the right way to get big. I think Nelson is trying to make a living at helping others acheive their goals through training and anabolics SAFELY... I don't think 'getting huge' can be on that agenda because for the most part ... what the pros do assumes to much risk for the average person....

I may not look like a pro, but at least I walk the walk. I went from a soft scrawny runt to becoming a body model in my 40's. I've seen a lot of "experts" (especially diet gurus) who were much younger who look like day old dog shit on stale bread. [/B][/QUOTE]

Interesting.

Day old dog shit on stale bread.

Oh, you want to get BIG?! Why didn't you say so!?

Here's what you do:

Work out three times a week for one hour each.

Eat 4000 calories a day.

Take 2000mgs of test a week along with 100 mgs of d-bol a day. Be sure to add indiscriminate amounts of insulin.

I GUARANTEE you will grow.

Didn't know I was so knowledgable, did you?
Thaibox: I had no idea you were privey to all the conversations I had with Dan. And you were at the resturant were we met too? I'll be danged. I'm curious of the people in the indstry that you're buddies with. If it's PA and LMcD, yes it's true, they hate me with good reason. I tell the truth.

No, Dan and I weren't best friends. We were just getting to know each other shortly before he passed. That's why he called me when he was in NY to hook up. Or maybe it was to tell me I'm a fool who doesn't know anything about training. I can't remember.

And yes, the endorsements from Dave Draper and Dennis Weis and Dr. Eric Serrano and Rick Collins are all fraudulant.

Geez, It's one thing not to like my work but these potshots are downright lame.

Good post my man, I've also seen a copy of your news letter, I liked it:)

Thanks dude. I appreciate that.

Honestly, I think there's room for a lot of different view points, Nelson's included. I just can't really go along with the extreme hype because I'd like to see all people with intelligent ideas be heard. And, during bouts of controversy, a lot of those intelligent opinions get overlooked.
