Who Is David Palumbo

Met him and Titus briefly this weekend at a local show they were guest posing in. They both seemed like nice guys and were constantly eating.

he is tying a pink bow in his little white dog's hair on his website. And when I say little I mean like 5 pounds at most little.

That has gotta be a funny ass site - seeing that big MF walking that friggin dog down the street with a bow in it's hair....

damn... if we didn't know better we would all be thinking something different...

titus and gunter are the two nicesy pros out there IMO. really apprecaite there fans. Titus is my all time fav tho. guy was cool as hell. saw jumbo in vegas too,that guy is sickly ripped
 
Honestly, when I look at the picture, for some reason I feel bad for him. I don't think that he looks too healthy in those pictures. Don't get me wrong, I respect the man and he is BIG and RIPPED but it reminds me of some sort of human chemistry experiment that has gone wrong.
 
I saw him on a daytime talk show probably atleast 5 years ago. It was one of these "look how the guy/girl you knew in high school looks now" shows. Most were girls that were ugly in high school and were hot now. Then they had two bodybuilders on there. One was a black guy I didn't know. The other was Palumbo. He was friggin huge and had a massive gut (hard as a rock - looked like he swallowed a basketball). He walked from the stands to the stage and was breathing so hard he had to sit down to catch his breath. Big boy though, huge. The guy he knew from high school was like, "Dave Palumbo, no way, thats not dave palumbo". Then they showed Dave's high school picture, he was this scrawny kid. Pretty funny....
 
dave palumbo knows his shit about AAS usage and diet etc....but come on guys.....by no means does this guy have a nice physique. all his bodyparts when flexed look like each body part belongs to someone else....no dam symmetry. ok hes ripped...but whats it to be ripped when he isnt full or thick just big and ripped. jay cutler is full, thick and ripped. ...this guy is just big and ripped. check out some pics from the most recent nationals of him from the back, no width no detail, nothing. and he looks like a dam monkey.
 
Dave has been training me and consulting with me for a while now. He honestly knows his shit more than anyone I have ever seen. His help has made dramatic changes in my physique and ensures me that my long awaited pro-card will be waiting on me when the time comes. Thanks Dave!

for one thing he definitely hasn't mastered the art of looking relaxed and happy while flexing--he looks awful.

This is actually a good point. I would call it charisma. He doesn't have much. Compare him to a shawn ray for example. Shawn may not have any bodypart that is better, but, he's got nice shape, he's a good lookin' dude, he's smooth on stage, and he projects self-confidence and a winners posture. In a subjective sport like this, these factors matter a whole bunch.
 
David Palumbo

Dave is a great guy and he does know his shit! So does Matt Duvall. Matt, too is a helluva nice guy. These two are good friends and have trained together for years. Both used to live back east and are on the west coast alot, of course.

Those two will both be great pros someday. Funny how your body can change even ,more after you turn pro.

Look at Flex, Levrone, Cutler, etc. Their physiques all changed for the btter after they turned professional.
 
I agree that he knows his stuff. He just doesn't exactly have a great structure. He is more of "human" bodybuilder, he better represents the average bodybuilder who has taken it to extremes. He doesn't have the genetics of a Flex or Dexter Jackson. He is blocky and thick waisted, his thighs are a little strange shaped also. He is THE ANABOLIC FREAK. His conditioning is insane.
 
You people think he is ripped? No more than the average pro who places fifth through fifteenth...and certainly not well proportioned.

I agree with the assessment of a strained, chemical look. He does not carry his musculature well at all, and frankly looks near death. He reminds me a bit of Curtis Loeffler, who also had bizarre vascularity and a blocky, yet strangely lean, physique.

They both share a purplish hue beneath their tans that makes me uneasy about steroids altogether.

Of course, Curtis is a bit whiter now, I would imagine...
