Who here Draw when injecting?

i hear the proper way to inject is to draw and if there is droplets of blood to pull out and start over. so what happens if you just inject straight? without drawing

if you inject without aspirating (drawing), you could be injecting into a vein which can be a problem. Just aspirate & if you see blood pull it out & inject again.

I heard Tren cough is a bitch

Gotta admit. After the juicin days and going on 5 years of HRT -- never asperate. With a 1" in the glutes you won't be hitting a major vein.

Believe it or not, even most doctors don't asperate.

I'm not advocating it -- just sayin.'

i dont really draw the plunger far enough to move, just enough to make a vacuum bubble in the gear. if you see that, you are golden.

The only time I have ever gotten any blood when aspirating is with a glute shot. I just pulled it out and shot into a different spot, blood and all.

I think most people on here will say they aspirate. I do like Ivtitan said... only pull enough to see a tiny bubble.. Typically if there is a problem the syringe will fill with blood with out even aspirating. Then you just pull out and try again. But probably always a good idea to do so just incase

Am I the only one that thought... since I just gave my self my first shot that aspirating is VERY DIFFICULT to do? Does the type of syringes make a difference?

Aspirating is maybe a little fiddly but I wouldn't describe it as difficult. Try practicing with just a syringe.

I've never had a gusher but I've drawn a small amount of blood many times. Just pull out and re-stick. It's your own blood and still fresh so there's no real need to throw it out.

I had a tetanus jab in the delt recently. If the nurse aspirated then she did it faster than I could follow. She didn't even ask me whether I'd already stuck that shoulder earlier in the day. ;)
