I'm currently off due to surgery...but will be back in a couple weeks...does that count? Prior I was 4-5 times/week.

I never move. I lay face down on a pillow and mumble out thoughts and I record them.
Later a woman comes in an types out my thoughts into posts that show up here.
She then reads aloud all of the current posts, and then cleans my bed pan.

The upside is that I can sleep anytime I want, which is frequently.
The downside would be the bed sores.

Beastboy, I hope you're healing nicely..and does that mean your cute daughter can lift more than you now? lol :D I'm j/k. :) If that's her in your avatar, she's a cutie!

I only take a break when I am ill or injured.

You need to get her to flip you every now and then.:D

Just make sure that you have a really big spatula.;)

I no longer lift regularly. That could change at any moment though. This may get me banned, but here goes... I actually enjoy cardio more than weight training:worried:

Cardio is more fun for many. But you can't flex your cardio muscles.

Naw, I don't regularly lift weights anymore... Haven't for like 3 months... Ever since I moved here for school, I really haven't been into lifting weights. I play football, swim, bike, and do the occasional jog, but lifting doesn't appeal to me anymore. I used to do it religiously, but just kinda stopped after moving away from my friends who lifted with me.

But it's all good, I am still really FIT.... and this is a FITNESS site :)

I have oft wondered at the complete focus on massive size. We have guys that are failing at school because they are so occupied by 10 more pounds that they can not get without roids. Not sure that is smart at all.

It is her...thanks. She is very protective of my boo-boo...no hugs allowed.

LMAO, so your the other guy she was talking about, dude i'm down the hall, room/cell B4-1256 :)

I joined a gym in January of 2002 to lose weight for my New Year's Resolution.

Later that week I was doing a set of Reverse Good Mornings, and pulled a groin muscle. I haven't been back to the gym since then, my groin muscle is fine now, but my week long trial membership has long since expired.

I was thinking of skipping the whole "gym" thing and buying some equipment for home. Have you guys ever heard of "Soloflex?"

I train 2 days on 1 day off with a HIT rest pause program...

I do sprints for cardio 2 xtimes a week

I eat like a mad man, 350 grams of protien and 3000-5000 cals a days

I also take them steriod pills every once in a while

5-6x a week, along w/ running 3x a week. But for the last 3 months, I haven't hit the weights at all. Concentrating on my running/swimming/calistentics because of an upcoming military career move ;) (Navy SEALs)

I thought darktooth was a young man about the age of 17 who used illegal anabolic substances, and now you tell me he doesn't workout or eat protein?

When i look around the gym i see lots of people lifting weights, they just dont lift heavy weights and by looking at their asses and bellies i dont it is protein they be eating.

I've been lifting regularly for 24 years. Average 3 times a week. I think it pays off in that I never get physcially sick. Occasionally I will feel bad for a day or so, then quickly recover. I can't remember the last time I ran a fever. I think the cardio probably helps the most. I haven't vomited since I was 16, except for a time when I passed out drunk(I think I was drugged).

depends on my schedule. I'm not working 9-5 nor monday-friday. So I usually go 1-3 times a week. 20-25 minutes/sessions. I eat around 150-200 g of protein, with 2000-3000 calories. Thats enough for me...

wow, so far from the looks of the things, many people dont train at least 4 days a week. Pretty shocking.

As for me.

I go to the gym 4 days a week for 1 hr sessions. I also try to get as much protein as I can.

I go at least four times a week. I have my lazy stints, but lifting is such a part of me now that I don't think I could ever leave it behind completely.

I'm so busy that i rarely get a chance to lift...I work LOTS. However, I try to squeeze in some cardio to keep off the flubb.

well, one of the cadre at my detatchment was telling me all special force dudes had 500 pft scores and 3.8-4.0 gpa's etc etc before they went to special forces. in other words, they were "perfect." doesn't necessarily seem right to me. my main goal is becoming a pilot. i thought special forces would be something cool to do if i didn't get selected to be a pilot.

You gotta have high PFT scores yes.....but be perfect....NO. He's blowing smoke up your ass.

I alternate btw 3-5 times per week depending on if I'm doing HIT or not. Last week and so far this week I've been too busy with school. Priorities, though.

I lift 4 times a week. Only miss a day if something major comes up, and then I find a way to make it up later in the week somehow.

I did legs today.....drinking my second protein shake of the day as I type.

I can't imagine not being able to workout.

Used to lift "heavy" 3x/wk x 1hr until Fonz called me out, now I quit alltogether 'cause I realized I could never be 1/2 the man-model he is.

I think I'll take the next 10 weeks off before I take my "after" pics.

I love it when people say they have no time to work out. Out of 168 hours a week you guys can't find 4 hours to put aside for training?

I thinks it's more of "don't want to make time" compared to "not having time".

I go every workday since my gym is on the way to work.

that said, I didn't go this morning because I was too tired when I got up, so I just went back to sleep.

I average 4 days a week, doing weights and cardio. if I didn't have this current job, then I would not go in the mornings and then I would be more productive in the gym. I'm worthless in the mornings.
