who here as ever hired a personal trainer?

Judo Tom

Plat Hero
Platinum
what results did you get
did you enjoy the whole process
was it worth it
how much did you pay

im really thinking of hiring one soon to get me back on track

A good trainer will provide knowledge and motivation.

If you don't have either of those and are willing to pay to acquire it then go for it.

No need for one, I am my own trainer, I am the best trainer...why becuase I am the only one who knows my body well.

edit: BUT I still ask for help on here ofcourse, then put the methods to the test ..

I would never use a trainer. 95% of the trainers I've met are idiots. They teach more misinformation than wisdom.

The Charles Glass's of the world are few and far between.

I wouldn't say that. They obviously have some knowledge if they're certified. I'd just check which certifications they have, if they're certified by the ACSM, I'd say go for it...that test is the real deal.

A personal trainer can help if you're a beginner, if you've been training for a while, you most likely have picked up on enough to keep growing.

A personal trainer can't hurt, so if you've got the money...go for it.
