Well this type of shape is my goal. Not the freak monsters from today's competitions. Which one do you think has a better shape, proportion, symetry? If other, say who.

All of them have flaws, but I prefer Rob Sager because his name reminds me of Bob Saget, whom cracks me up with his not-beeing-funny-at-all.

Dude don't be an asshole. Who told you that these guys don't workout hard? Of course they do and they look their calorie intake probably more than you do. The only difference is that they have enough brain to know what is a normal physique and what is a freak physique. If you think these actual Serge nubret-Arnold look is pussy or gay, a lot of people will disagree with you. Specially girls. Keep training hard, keep workingout focused, but if you think freak is the way to go, you are wrong. Unless you are extremely selfish and don't wanna hear other opinions.

Geez, my view of the ideal body seems to have gotten very distorted over the years. I looked at each pick and thought they all looked the same and I'd sooner have a much more bulk. This thread just brought me to realize how unnatural the builds I seek are.
 
I'd take any of them. The first guy is hot & normal looking. The second guy has the hotter body but he looks like he lost something in his speedos.

He was interviewed on Fit TV for a natural bodybuilding competition like 2 years ago. Of course he is not natty. But in these days, symetry and proportion doesn't count. In other words, if you look like a gorilla, you are not natty and you are a pro. If you look like old school guys, you are n natty, gay and pussy. :rolleyes:
The most important thing, genetics. Not everyone can have the body of his dreams without genetics. Probably that people took care over time to make a well developed body look as "gay" Who knows.
 
Just imagine. What would happen if Serge Nubret and Arnold were 27 years old right now with the same bodies they had? They would be limited to compete in amateur bodyduilding contests and make money as models. They would be called gays and pussies because they are not big as freak gorillas.

Today people is more interested in "how much you bench" rather than how good you look at the beach. Today young guys prefer a fatty belly, saggy pecs with gyno, a massive back wider than their body height and a sticker in their backs saying "I bench 500lb". Probably they will get any girl attracted that way. lol at that.

Hey bro I never said those guys don't work hard. I'm responding to your comment about having a look that girls like. I personally train for myself. I would never train as hard as I do, nor diet as hard as I do for anyone except myself. I'm not the type of person that goes around trying to impress other people. In fact I don't give a fuck what other people think. Least of all girls. They think I'm too big, but I'm nowhere near "freak" status as you so pathetically implied. I have no problem getting girls, even when I'm not 6% BF. I don't aspire to be a freak. I know Stan trains hard as I live in the same area as he does. BTW he's not natural. Arnold is my fucking idol. If I could look like him, I'd be satisfied. But those guys are not Arnold. I wasn't knocking those guys. I support anyone that trains hard and commits themselves 110% to their goals, no matter what they be. I just hate it when people do things to "impress girls". Fuck a sharp mind will impress girls way more than any 6 pack ever could. I'm not sure what you were trying to say about caloric intake, but I'll go toe to toe with anyone about diets any day of the week. 'Nough said.

OK, your opinion is 100% valid. But is YOUR opinion. If you don't like to impress, good for you. If others like, respect. At the end, maybe someone building a body to impress could make more money as a model and that means Brain. :)
