Im a catholic and I had the best intentions but got hungry and fucked up and ate a muffalatta with extra salami
 
i had the Friday Fish special at schiro's restauruant/B&B/bar/laundrette here in historic fauborg marigny. (royal & st roch).
 
Filets tonight....I was raised Baptist, so that means I can drink , fornicate, eat what I want ,and act the way I wont, and still get through the gates....
 
Forget that ancient shit Poboy....I don't think the Vatican asks us to adhere to the no meat rules anymore. Only OLD Catholics still do the no meat on fridays thing (my grandmother, who will be 90 in May, still observes this antiquated ritual).
 
Just some chicken because it's the first thing I saw when I opened the fridge to cook something... her in CR like 90% are catholics so no one drives, eats, drinks, etc today.... hell the cafeteria had pasta or fish.... what I hate is that they have something called "Ley Seca" pretty much translated dry law, it means no bar, restaurant, hotel, minimart, NO ONE in the country can sell a drop of alcohol, police go place by place and put a seal/sticker in the liquor area, if seal is broken a huge fine is applied, that law is applied Thursday and Friday so no booze anywhere.... very unfair to tourist in all inclusive hotels.... wednesday night is MADNESS with people buying bers and liquor... :s

Actually it's not even meat, it's really about giving up something u enjoy... making a sacrifice... I'm not religious so I eat what I want ^_^
 
Funny how its supposed to be a sacrifice and we peeps in Nawlinz have some of the best seafood on the planet cheap as hell.Some sacrifice huh?

Yeah, really....if I had a cheap supply of oysters, shrimp, and crawfish available to me I wouldn't miss the steak all that much.
 
oh hell i thought it was about not eating meat, i didnt no it was about giving up something i like , like sacrifice, well i had steak and eggs at dinner, and then had 2 cans of beer tonight, ut oh.......
