Inline barbell press

Flat barbell press

Decline barbell press

Barbell shoulder press

Seated French curls

Lying tricep extensions

Pressdowns

Close grip bench press

Dips

weighted dips between parallel bars

Close grip benching full range and then do particles using twice the amount of weight in only your strong range of motion, so only move the weight about 5 inches. Power factor training will make your arms grow like mad.

i have to say pressdowns got my triceps much bigger and have really made them my strongest bodypart.

For me it is a toss up between dips and close grip bench both tear my tri's up. But I have seen more mass since I added close grip bench along with the dips I was doing :)

Dips.

Close Grip Bench Press.

Decline Skulls (nose breakers, forehead crackers, eye poppers, whatever)

All done with strict form and HEAVY weight (in the case of dips - with a dip belt)

later.

close grip presses followed by skulls then one heavy french press

then hit the extensions till swelled, I do weighted dips but more for my chest

I only included the heavy chest and shoulder barbell exercises in the poll because I read an article by Kevin Levrone and he attributed his monster triceps to heavy benching.

Anyone else think like he does? Or is it all down to direct tricep exercises?

I feel heavy benches in my tri's a good bit, but what really made mine take off were strict and heavy french presses, skull crushers were next, and then close grip bench.

I want and try and keep this thread somewhere towards the top because Im trying to figure out the three best tricep exercises according to others experience.

i'll bump for ya brother,......i compete in bench meets and i'll tell you this for mass and power i keep rotating all types of extnsions,ez curl bar, straight bar,d/b as my main moves.pushdowns, and other stuff is secondary........just my .02;)

Decline nose breakers. Period.
Definitely. I use dumbells myself, palms facing in. I made better gains in 4 months than with pressdowns for over a year. Reverse the grip and do pulldowns instead of pressdowns, one arm at a time & slow, those are great!

I agree with The mann on rotating.Close grips and skulls with the straight bar are my favs.

If had to choose only one, it'd def be weighted dips. Very heavy tri extensions would be my second, they'll pump you like mad if you do em right.
