which diet would be better in terms of weight loss?

I am going to be working out three days a week. I haven't sat down and counted all the macronutrients yet but this is what I am planning on doing. Either one or the other, whichever one sounds better.

Mon,Wed= 2,000 calories, 250g carbs, 190g protein
Tue,Thu,Sat,Sun= 1,500 calories, 100g fat, 20g carbs
Fri= cheat day. I will eat some cookies and mayo with a sandwhich. Total calories should be around 3-3,500.

Should I just do a ketogenic? And if I go with the CDK, can i eat cookies for the carb up day?

I am 180lbs, 5'10, 20% bodyfat. Thanks for the help.

I would go with the CKD. Cookies are fine for the begining of the carb up period. I'll be eating chocholate chip cookies for mine this week. I have a date that night and chocolate chip cookies seem to work very well for obtaining nice cuts after depleting (thank you Dexter Jackson), which I wish I had known in the past.

Beginning of the day? I was thinking of later on, around 3pm or so. It will be the only cheat food that I'll be eating. I'll eat carbs throughout the day but they will be clean carbs. Also, I workout at 4:30A.M.

I'm an early morning trainer too. Gold's doesn't open until 5:00 am though. Yes, the begining of the day. When you first start your carbup, your glycogen stores are the most depleted, thus they will tend to absorb any type of carb you eat, regardless of how horrible it may be, rather than allowing it to deposite as bodyfat. Also, eating a high GI carb, cookies for example, will help replenish glycogen faster initially, which you will want to do, right after your early morning workout that day.

Do you think that eating the cookies in the evening will hinder fatloss too much? I would eat them in the morning but I am in a rush then so I won't be able to enjoy them as much. I only drink dextrose after my workouts.

I wouldn't eat too many carbs in the evening, especially cookies as they spike my hunger pangs bad, and I tend to overeat if I eat candy/chocolate at night
