Whey is a fast acting protein, digests in about 2hours.
Your better using a slow protein(casein) or a blend of different proteins. This way you will stay anabolic during most of your sleep.
A good source of slow protein is cottage cheese. If you want a shake then Labrada ProV60 is the way to go. Tastes good in water.
As for the sugar-free pudding, its also a good idea to use a blend of protein. This is a good snack for in-between trips to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
