i met my wifey in Basic Training. bivouac kicked ass. after i sweet talked her we went for a roll in the woods. we couldn't go all the way that night though because some guy started yelling that the drill sergeant was coming. but then two years later (i couldn't stop thinking about her so i gave her a call) we met in oklahoma city and finished what we started. and thanks to that wonderful weekend in OKC, i now have a beautiful wife and a perfect son.

well, i met my wife at a bar/club while on leave after a hurricane hit outside of new orleans. my friend dragged me out that night......i was looking for another friend of mine, she was out w/her friends and on a date too. she saw me and kept staring at me all night......i got drunk, approached her told her date to leave. danced w/her, took her out that next night, we became exclusive the next month, proposed to her 2 1/2 wks after that. been married over 2 1/2 yrs.

Met wifey at a mutual friend's house. The drummer was always practicing with his band and the parents were very cool about people coming over to watch 'em perform.

Anyway, I saw her from across the room a year before I ever saw her again. I thought she was ultra-hot and almost radiated sex too much for my taste. (My mom used to research std's & stuff, so it actually made me not want to approach her at all... though later found out she was a virgin...will listening to KISS all the time make you radiate sex?)

I asked the drummer who she was and a couple ?'s about her... come to find out she was best friend's with the drummer's younger sister!

First date was a complete failure. The second was great until I left. Then we were friends for a month... yeah, right... then I told her I loved her 3 months after we started dating and she cried because she never loved anyone else before me and she knew I was the one. My manager (married female) at work cried also... you know... happy crying.

Last girl I was into, I met at a pub. Amazingly, I was hammered out of my mind but she still fell for my wit and charm. That's my version of the story anyway.

In reality, I was drunk and made an ass of myself the whole night. Pestered and pawed at her for hours, until she threatened to kick me in the balls.

She took pity on me and gave me a ride home, as most of my friends had abandoned me during the night. I guess at some point I asked her to see a movie, although I don't remember doing so.

I called her a few days later to thank her for the ride, and she reminded me that I'd asked her out. Actually, what she said was "You should really buy me dinner 'cause you were such an asshole the other night...you owe me."

And the rest is history. We didn't date long, but we're still freinds today. She's a cool chick.

Unfortunately nowhere fancy. I knew my hubby from before and I moved away from the county for awhile. Then I moved back and he was with some friends. I happened to tell one of my guy friends (who happened to be a good friend of his) that I thought he was cute, but NOT to tell him I just wanted to see how things went..ya know test the waters make sure it was safe...but he had to go and tell him. The rest is history. He proposed to me after 5 months of going out (aobut 2wks before that I said I was never going to get married).
