When should I diet? How should I do it?

Ok so I'm 5.5 weeks into my first cycle. Right now I'm taking 500mg/week of Test Cyp and I'm + 35 pounds. I bloated at the beginning and I've been taking 1mg/day of Liquidex since about day 4 to help with that as well as drinking a lot of water. That said my bench is up 45 pounds so I've gained some good muscle too.

I'm 5'11" 212 as of this morning and I really have no idea of my bodyfat percentage. I started the cycle at 177 pounds and have been eating everything in sight. Probably averaging 5000 calories a day.

I figure I have 3 options:

1) Keep growing as much muscle as I can while I'm on gear
2) Keep growing until the last few weeks of the cycle, switch to CKD and let the steroids hold onto the muscle while I diet hardcore.
3) Switch at some point (suggest when if you reccomend this route) to an extremely clean 2500 calorie a day diet which will reduce muscle growth and not burn fat as fast as CKD but a solid balance of the two.

I would think bulking the whole cycle without dieting would be bad because when I came off the gear I would then find it troublesome to hang onto the muscle while dieting.

Depends on how long you have left on your cycle, and if it's your first cycle i'd just pack it on as much as i could. But if you're thinking you want to cut, I'd definatly do it or get a head start while you're still on gear, save more muscle mass that way for sure. Give the CKD a try, many have lately and many have had success, not for the fait of heart though i may add..... Throw in your AM cardio regardless, and keep those calories at bay brotha, perhaps a litle eca/clen and you drop some bf in no time brotha!! also keep that liquidex up at 1mg/day, it'll just help with everything.

I'd take advantage of it and keep bulking while your on AAS. You can always diet off the fat later and if you do it right, hold onto most of the muscle you gained. How long do you plan on staying on? 8 weeks? 12 weeks? If you see yourself gaining too much fat you could switch over to the anabolic diet while bulking. A lot of people notice minimal fat gain on this diet compared to an all out "eat everything in sight" diet. Similar to a traditional CKD just calories during the week are at 20% above maintenence or 25 x bodyweight. 36 hour carb refeed during the weekend. Just a suggestion. Good job with the 45 pound bench increase!

I originally planned on 12 weeks but I might go 14 or 16 and throw some HCG in after week 8.

Ag-guys threw in a free bottle of clen with my last order so I have that if I want to use it.

Maybe take full advantage of the steroids and keep bulking, then use the clen which is supposedly catabolic and an anabolic or CKD which supposedly burns less lean mass than a typical low calorie diet.

Well if they gave you some clen for free, that will hold onto muscle pretty well while cutting. I'd let the cycle run out and get all the muscle you can. 2 reasons behind this. 1) more muscle equals higher metabolism which (usually) equals easier cutting. 2) If you do lose some muscle when you're cutting, say 2 or 3 lbs out of say 10-15 lbs total, then its not as much of an issue since you've put on so much muscle from your cycle. think about it, 5.5 lbs in and you've already gained 35 lbs. would you really want to sacrifice 14 lbs (2 weeks at your current growth rate) to try and lose some bodyfat that you can just as easily take off later?

keep in mind one simple concept: You can only do one thing at a time efficiently. That is, you are either bulking or cutting, can't do both at the same time (no point in overlapping). What you're doing will dictate everything you do: What training routine you follow, what do you eat and how much, how much cardio, etc.

Having said that, finish your bulking cycle (don't have any cutting thoughts while on it) and after you'e done, switch entirely to cutting. What diet to follow is entirely up to you.
