When people ask you for advice at the gym...

what do you tell them?

A girl approached me in the locker room and asked me what I do to get my shoulders and arms so tight.

Me: I asked her what are you doing?

Her: Just cardio...

Me: That is the problem you need to start lifting weights. Just cardio is going to leave you soft. I could have gone into more detail with her but it was late and I was so dam tired too.

I give advice.. and then give them a magazine ifi dont feel like dealing with them

Yeah basically I mean it is hard to sum up what all it takes I figured get her lifting was the most important thing.
 
I just say "do you lift weights like you mean it?" Well no I don't. But I always tell them its diet & resistance training. Briefly go into the "six small meals, etc." thing. When their eyes glaze over or they start looking like they are going thru sugar withdrawal, I just sort of turn in the mirror and make a move like to flex a little. Then they get all weirded out and leave. LMAO. God I'm such a meathead.

Naw, if someone asks me a question I'll just say its diet & training. Don't cheat yourself on the weights and you can't get big because you don't have testosterone in your body like guys do.

They don't ask me, because I am a fat fuck. :)

j/k....... Actually, I have a SERIOUS "don't talk to me" attitude flying off me. Few people bug me. I hate socializing, esp at the gym.

I do have a couple "friends" in the classes I take, we share fitness stuff, but outside that...... I don't make eye contact. :)

Hahaha I had my head phones on I didn't notice she was talking to me tell I took them off to put my sweater and coat on.

I haven't been faced with people asking me for advice at the gym...guess I should be thankful for this. I probably give off that "back off" vibe too ;)
