Why should they get suspended??? Canseco just wants to make money but I do agree with him in one thing, he said it should be legal for cosmetic purposes!

Just bought the book tonight and started reading earlier. I'm not much of a book worm but I definatly would recommend checking it out. Only reason I put it down was to check out the site hoppin right back on it after I'm through here.

I agree he is doing it for the money. I also think it is very bad publicity for baseball which is already going downhill. I mean if Mark McGuire took juice and Barry Bonds did also can there be a superstar in baseball without steroids? I think that is why they are not suspending players for using them.
I read the book, I think it has to do more with him being shunned by baseball once he started getting in trouble and how he feels other are more accepted than him. I think he's ratting people out because he is jealous they will get into the hall of fame and he may not and some player were more accepted than him. Its seems as though he has some sort of inferiority complex.
Despite the people he ratted out dening it, I think he was telling the truth about them. Sure he's making money off the book, but does anyone know if he is as broke as Mike Tyson...lol???? I am not so sure it's all about money as it is about how he's trying to bring other down so they wont get in the hall of fame like him.

I forgot to mention the main person he seems to be jealous of is Mark Macguire, in a section of the book he talks about when they would go out, mac would get jealous when jose got all the girl due to his good looks. He called him a golden boy, and said if he got in trouble nothing would happen to him. But, because jose is cuban they singled him out. I was reading it thinking wtf...lol.

But Bros if you think about it, All these guys hitting the sauce and breaking records etc..... which are not cause by the sauce you need some talent, anyways was the best thing that happened to Baseball. Baseball after the 1994 strike was dead nobody care and Mac/Sosa brought it back!!!!!!. So in a way the Sauce brought the game back!!, I still think baseball sucks!!. Just look at the NFL I think is the best sport organization, Salary cap makes things competive and no team buys the super stars. I know people that play for the NFL and hit the sauce every off season and noboy is rattling anyone out!!!. God I love football!!

Average people are just VERY VERY IGNORANT and in many cases STUPID.....if they did only a few hours of homework they would know that most of sports involving strenght requirements are full of juicers 75%. As for Conseco h emakes me sick, i could give a crap about his stance on the issues, he is being a bitch and ratting out the entire basebal industry. And he is putting unnecesary pressure on bbing. He is the biggest tool in the word. If he came into my gym his ass would be DOA upppon arivall. What a looser selling out his fellow players for money. Additionally he gives a bad reputation to juice. He is a convict and had been arested multiple times for fellony assaults, beating up fans, tourists, his wife etc.. To the media he is the typical "roid rage case" when in reality he is an ignorant self centered piece of human shit that should be shot in the head and fucked in the ass with a broom stick till he bled to death in agonizing pain. This guy is a joke. What do you expect the players to do admitt to it? Also my oppinion on the issue is that there should be a natural leage and a juiced leage in all sports. I played college ball and know some guys that play in the NFL some juice and some dont but 75% is extremely high really high thats like 7 out of 10 thats insane I would say less then half about 35 to 40. I don't necessarily think Jose was jealous of McGwire.....I think it was McGwire that became jealous of Jose which in turn made him turn to AAS later on which helped him get that shortlived HR record in '98.
You gotta remember.......Jose dominated baseball '87-'90 and McGwire was in his shadow during their time on the A's. It wasn't until Canseco got lazy and let his baseball skills erode that guys like Bonds, McGwire, Sosa began to dominate.
Check out McGwire when he first came up in the mid 80's and look at him when he retired in 2001.....if you can honestly sit there and tell me with a straight face that you don't think he used any AAS/Insulin/GH....you are off the chain nuttso......

what interests me about this story is the reaction of those covering for mcguire. the most typical reaction is that mcguire is clean because of his work ethic, LaRussa and company are saying, like mark he earned his muscles the old fashioned way whereas jose never put any effort into it. they are implying that roiders are lazy ass fuckers who need to cheat to succeed cause they are too lazy to put forth any effort whereas my boy mark worked his ass off to get big. what a line of shit. where was this observation when jose was helping you get to the world series three straight years.

West Coast is ok. I can did thier style. I originally liked Ice-T in Breakin I and II . As KRS says it "Break dance , graphiti art and real rap music" is where it's at for me. This is what put rap over the edge and made it into a fad or a culture depending upon your point of view. Songs like "Fuck the Police" are mainy intended to promote the individual group and not intended to promote hip hop as an art. This is the way is should be.
