I have been training consistently for the past year on and off cycle. These past few weeks I have had to take off because of other real life problems. It looks like I will be inconsistant for the next three weeks working out here n there when I can. Has anyone else gone really hard then had to lay off for awhile? In other words should I use this time to let my body recoup and not stress for the next few weeks? or should I still try to squeeze in 1 or 2 a week if I can?

if its only for a week or 2, i would take this opportunity to relax. it will probably be good for you. just hit it hard when you return.

I have taken a month off without any real effects (besides a slight strength loss and the slight loss of definition). The good news is that it all comes back very very quickly due to the hard- earned muscle memory and dense muscle mass you have built over the years.

During this lay off I have still been taking sten and GH so I hope everything just falls back into place. Still it's weird being out of the gym after living in it for the past year.

-a month for gyno surgery
-about two months for a hernia operation

and then the odd week where I've had to take it off for exams or work reasons
