I do 30 minutes stationary bike every morning. I will pop a dvd in the tv and watch movies ,, time goes by pretty quickly. I dont think cardio can ever really be fun.

Im not sure how in shape you are, but I like to do this a few times a week, but you need to do a little homework first.

First I drive a short route out, like 10-15miles then bike the route, and as soon as I return to the starting area, go out for a short 1-3 mile run, then jump rope for about 5-10 minutes. The combo bike/run gives you a nice change up sometimes.

I also swim some too, but I am training for triatholons, and lifting hard, so Im different than alot of hardcore lifters on here.

Here is my weekly exercise schedule though:
Monday
Swimming 50 minutes (1600m= 1 mile)
Lifting 1 Hour

Tuesday
Lifting- 1 hour
Jumprope 3-3 minute rounds (30 sec break b/t each)
Boxing 5-3 minute rounds with weighted gloves
Boxing 3- 3minute rounds with non weighted gloves

Wednesday
Spinning Class 50 minutes
Lifting 60 minutes
Spinning Class 30 minutes

Thursday
Same as Tuesday

Friday
Running moderate pace 1 hour

Saturday
Biatholon
Bike 10 miles, then go run 2-3 miles

Sunday
Offday

I'd say heavy bag training is my favorite form of cardio. Then, shadow boxing. After that, any type of sparring I can do. I enjoy cycling at home while listening to music or watching TV.

Swimming is probably the best, though. Easy on the joints, gets your entire body involved. Very good form of cardio, and I find it fun.

Be creative. Mix up your cardio routine so it doesn't get stale.

My favorites..

1.Basketball (FUN)
2.Touch Football
3.Epilcenter trainer with music channel on
4.Running through off road type trails(watch your ankles)
5.Walking my buddies dog, on the street, in trails, anywhere
6.Recently added...... SPRINTS... bring a barf bucket
7.Any other sport...

As long as you keep it fresh you shouldn't get too suicidal

inline-skating.....or riding a bike outdoors

Those are my favorite...I can technically do them year round...but I really only enjoy them during hot weather.

I think the most fun way to do cardio....

.... is paintball.

Or something similar, preferably out in the bush or in vast areas.... you get some HITT training, since you're sometimes sprinting frantically, sometimes jogging lightly, sometimes walking, sometimes staying still.... but you don't even notice it.

Running up and down your HighSchool Bleachers is good, good workout and you can finally land that Captain of the Cheerleading squad you always wanted!
