What's the consensus on EAS Myoplex

I have always found Myoplex to be one of the best tasting MRPs around. A friend of mine swears EAS has gone down hill in the last few years (since the company changed hands?) and now they use really cheap protein (low BV) and that it isn't worth the fillers they use to make it taste better... I was wondering what you all thought about Myoplex and if you could shine some light on the quality of the protein used in their MRPs. Thanks.

taken from the EAS website:

Myoplex Vanilla Cream Ingredients: MyoPro. (unique blend of whey-protein concentrate from specially filtered and ion-exchanged whey protein, calcium caseinate, milk-protein isolate, taurine, L-glutamine, sodium caseinate, egg albumin, and calcium alpha-ketoglutarate [AKG]), maltodextrin, corn syrup solids, vitamin and mineral blend (potassium chloride, disodium phosphate, calcium phosphate, magnesium oxide, potassium citrate, potassium phosphate, choline bitartrate, beta-carotene, ascorbic acid, dl-alpha-tocopheryl acetate, ferrous fumarate, molybdenum amino acid chelate, boron proteinate, manganese gluconate, selenium amino acid chelate, niacinamide, zinc oxide, d-calcium pantothenate, chromium citrate, copper sulfate, Vitamin A palmitate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, riboflavin, thiamin hydrochloride, Vitamin D3, folic acid, biotin, potassium iodide, and cyanocobalamin), natural and artificial flavors, cellulose gum, salt, sunflower oil, salt, mono and diglycerides, sucralose, medium chain triglycerides and soy lecithin.

How's the BV of the protein used? From what I have been told, the quality took a nosedive since Bill Phillips stepped down from the company in 1999.

Thank Babyface:)

Looks like a good product with a few exceptions.

The BV of the protein blend is fine:

Whey concentrate and Isolate - Good

Calcium caseinate - Good, digest slow and is packed full of calcuim and phosphorus with helps athletes with a variety of goals.

MPI - Good, not really any lactose...slow and fast acting for good nitrogen retention

Taurine- not a problem, whatever

L-Glutamine - Good

Sodium Caseinate- I have a problem with this, its not necessary and may actually be one the the reasons Myos are said to taste so good. I hate added sodium so I dont liek this choice.

Egg- great profile

AKG- Helpful to thyroid

Maltodextrin- good carb source

Corn Syrup Solids- no good and its high up on the list...however I doubt there is a significant amount.

I love Myoplex, As stated above, it has a great Protien profile and tastes great!! I use Myoplex in conjunction with Optimum Nutrition's Pro Complex. I have had good results. I like Optimum and EAS! Good companys! I would not pay for Myoplex Delux! WAAY over priced! It is Myoplex with CLA and tastes like shit! Mike
