dancing with martial prinicpiles within the dance

im told its fun, but i wouldnt rely on finding a school where its taught as a figthing art....most people ive seen only know how to perform the dancing part of the art, as thats all they practise

yea funk that, I know about that stuff, one of the trainers at my gym teaches it at nyu and he's gay (not literally..lol) I'm just playin but definitely not my style.

I've found that Ninjutsu is probably the one which helped me the most. I've done before Tae Kwan doe and Judo it was worth shit in real fights. To be specific the class I took was a mix of Ninjutsu and Taijutsu.

Manny, Ninjutsu and Taijutsu are one in the same. Taijutsu is simply "the art of using the body." Its the original Japanese warrior method of unarmed combat. Very practical. It employs all aspects of fighting under any given condition.

What type of Ninjutsu did you study Manny? I personally love Ninjutsu but have only spent a small amount of time studying under Bujinkan dojo. I did get to meet Steven Hayes a couple times. That was a good experience. I also had the opportunity to see Dr. Hatsumi once very briefly. That was probably one of the most intense moments of my life, just seeing that man.

Thaibox..what's your background as far as your athletic involvement before getting into martial arts or have you always been involved?

Oh and does anybody know anything about Tiger Schulmans Karate?

Bujinkan, but the class was based (if not copied) from the one they give to the recruits of the Tokyo Police. So it was more aimed for future law enforcement candidates. So we would also learn things headlocks, police hammerlocks and many ways to escape from them.....

no prob Vis. Jose Grados is pretty damn good from what I hear. I haven't done any chi sao with him though people that have say he's good.
Good luck bro:fro:
