Whats Best For Loosing Weight, The Bike or Running?

I've jogged long enough to get healthier, but my shins can't take it. I like biking. It's no impact, and a great form of intervals (short sprints/bursts followed by lower intensity rests) because you go up and down hills. It will get you in shape pretty fast. I wish I lived in a place that's warm all year 'round and I'd bike all year.:fro:
 
IMHO the best cardio you can do in the gym is fast-paced walking @ incline on the treadmill without holding the bar.

I have been doing this lately, and leaned up nicely without loosing lbm.

(30-40 min per day, 7.2-7.4 Km/h @ 7-9% incline)
