i wonder the same thing--but i have a bro that takes all his gear via dmso (needle issues)

my guess is there is an agent in the topical the cleves the hydrogen and oxygen water from the molecule nad thus break the structure so that the lipid is mobilized to be used as energy--sort of takes a step out of the process---but i am not a scientist and did not stay at a holiday inn express last night...so this could just be worthless--but i just do not want to go out an thatch my lawn.

Because you didn't get any benefit from TargeX doesn't mean that others won't find benefit from using it. If you were already lean and didn't need the TargeX, then perhaps you only needed to lose some water. Of course TargeX isn't going to help too much if you are already really lean...duh. Others, however, have received good results with TargeX.
