I just got home from the Christmas party for the gym I work at. Most of the people I work with are are a bit more choosy than I am about which establishments they will go to, so this year they decided that it was going to be at an over-priced yuppie micro-brewery.

As a part of our Christmas present, my boss gave me one of the brew-pub's sampler pack's. 30 different beers...3 oz. glasses.

Now maybe I am just old-fashion, but beer should taste like......well, beer. Chocolate flavored Pilsner, or Peppermint Lager...just does not sound good to me...and the taste was wretched. Give me a Miller Lite and I am happy....

After trying 30 flavors, I have a war going on in my stomach (...and head) right now!! So, what's your opinion on micro-brews?

I will agree with Nimrod on that one. The beer, girl your lucky your not on your knees talking to the throne. Mixing 30 different types of beer together, ugh. Bad enough if you drink Bud light and then try a Miller light.

Ohh yeah, microbreweries are crap yuppie wanna be unique and kewl bull.

I like the basic ones like pilsners and dark, but none of the weird stuff.
