What would you do to improve wrestling?

The first thing I would do is place importance back on the belts and not use them for props. Back when Flair was in his prime, his reign of world titles was remarkable for the length they lasted. The way things are going now with title reigns lasting only hours at a time, Kurt Angle will be 20 time champ before he has 5 years in the business.

Next I would place a better selection in main event. How many times have we watched Rock/Hunter? Angle/Austin? Austin/Rock? We have about 5 different main events that they continue to cycle to us in various forms. I would put the dinosaurs out to pasture.

Third I would create a dominant rule breaking clique. Face it, nWo is NOT the answer. It is pathetic. They ruined (naturally) a good combo of Booker T / Goldust. Their promos were hilarious. I would do another Team Canada type, with Jericho, Benoit, Storm, Helms, Mike Awesome, etc..

What are your ideas. We should start a mass email to WWE offices.

get rid of the 'split', and separate into 3 separate federations (WWF, WCW, ECW) with crossovers allowed due to in-fighting etc

get storylines back to when they were with rock vs. HHH. undertaker and austin had left and the show was left with its 2 bigger starts gone, critics were alreadys writing the obituaries and the writers stepped up to the plate. basically big scale confrontations, revelations etc

take the guys that can't work such as the taker and hogan and slowly fade them out or use them to elevate mid carders with main event potential...

eliminate the women's division and just use em for eyecandy because that is pretty much what they are anyhow.

bring in more cruisers... they are exciting to watch...

end the stupid ass goldberg like push that brock lesnar has... getting old very quick.

take some guys and give them a chance to run with the ball... for example... Raven, stevie richards, tommy dreamer, tajiri...

in fact i would bring back the sinister minsiter gimmick from ECW with whipreck and tajiri... that was way over!!!

Not let the people who are feuding actually get in the ring with eachother until a major pay per view. Back in the 80's they would always sabotage eachothers matches but wouldnt actually end up fighting till a pay per view. Nowadays they all end up fighting eachother week in and week out so there is no excitement for them when they actually meet in the ring during a pay per view.

i can tell by that statement you don't watch wrestling... because lately it is far less entertaining than both of those shows and that is sad... indeed.
