Hey guys...I have been working out for about a year but I took the last month off to study for finals..After a month...will I lose muscle, and will I be as strong as before? what do u think happens when u take a month off?
 
I've always heard that it's beneficial to take time off from bodybuilding after you've been working out for a longer time. I took a break from BBing a month ago after working out for only 6 months.

I gained everything I had before the break in about a week.
 
I'd say a week is about as long as you can go without losing muscle, maybe less. A month is a long time. But you said you've already taken the time off. What do you think? How do you look? My guess is that you probably lost some size and strength. The good thing is, you probably didn't lose all that much, and it won't take much to get it back.
 
I don't recomend talking off a month. That may be just a little too long. I don't normally take off that long. Usually just a full week. One thing about it is it shouldn't take long to get back what you lost if you lost anything.
