what sweetener when ordering from proteinfactory.com

I just got my chocolate flavored CFM from them and apparently I ordered "plain" sweetener. Stuff tastes like shit, really bland. What do u guys use for your sweetener.

Also what can I add to my mistake to make it taste better without slowing absorbtion?
 
I use stevia and acuselfame-K (sp?); I think they use Splenda if you don't specify. You can go to the store, pick up some type of sweetner and add it if you can't take the taste.
 
I use splenda and ace in mine. I like what I get from the protein factory better than any premade I have ever tried.
 
2 scoops of bland powder. (I like 50% on exchanged whey. 25% casien 20% egg white and 5% whole egg.)

2 spoonfuls of Nestles Quick
1 spoonful of Nestles Quik Sugar free
1 spoonful of unsweetened cocoa
1 packet of Splenda.

Best tasting shake you'll ever drink. The protein/fat/ carb ratio is good and it cost about an eight of the price of any pre-packaged MRP.
 
FYI. Splenda is the only sweetner that is derived from sugar. it's natural. The others are chemical sweetners. Just thought you should know. I know how some people are about putting chemicals in their body. *w*
 
yeah splenda is probably the best tasting artificial sweetner out there now...

Stevia, is an herb - Splenda or Stevia is the way to go.
 
Splenda works best as a sweetening "enhancer". With a little sugar it's fine, but by itself as the sole sweetening agent, it's pretty gross -- to me at least.

Why is everybody so paranoid of a tablespoon of sugar? Do you really think that's going to make the difference between looking like the current you and looking like Ronnie Coleman?

Maltodextrin is the worst, not becaue of its glycemic index but because it isn't very sweet. You need 4 tsps ( about 16 carb grams) to equal the sweetness of one tsp of sucrose -- 4 carb grams -- not bad, and it makes all the difference.

Stevia has a bit of a "maplely" aftertaste and has shown to have anti-androgenic properties. (As does licorice)
