Do you know of any supplement that could help withmuscle pain after training? I know that it is nomrla, but this is theonly thinkg that is standing between my brother and gym. Hope to beable to solve this.

There is no supplement for the pain per see, but you can improve muscle recovery by taking whey protein, It will act as building blocks of the muscles, hence improving their recovery and reducing pain.

What about ice and cold showers? Will they help? Is massage good for muscle pain after training?

Yes. So-called muscle rubs help (the kind that warm up). How's your protein?

A soft massage can be a good idea, and it might indeed help with muscle pain, but this might be hard to get for most people. If you got someone who could give you a massage, it would be great.

After your workout, your are depleted of carbohydrates and amino acids. A good quality post workout shake is awesome for improving recovery.

Post workout, you want to consume:
1. A easy digesting protein source like whey protein
2. A fast acting carb source like a carb powder, white rice or white potatoe
3. Some sort of antioxidant to reduce inflammation. A greens powder would be great.
